Frogmore is a small sub-village in the northeast of the civil parish of Yateley in the English county of Hampshire.

It adjoins Darby Green and lies between the towns of Yateley and Blackwater.

The village, part of the Frogmore & Darby Green ward, is administered by Yateley Town Council whilst neighbouring areas fall within the auspices of Blackwater and Hawley Town Council. Frogmore is often considered as a sub-village of both towns by local residents.

Amenities

It houses a large, purpose-built village social hall (built in 2001), replacing an earlier one, a large village green, a modern medical surgery, a sizeable primary school, a pub (The Bell Inn), a modern church and a small shopping parade. An older church existed in the nearby Darby Green which burnt down in the 1980s.

Frogmore's Post Office was shut down in 2004, it was a focal point of the community and sold old-fashioned sweets. Frogmore Community College is situated on the southeastern edge of Yateley, which includes a sports and leisure complex. Frogmore, Darby Green and Blackwater have a reputation as a mixed community of both affluent and low-income residents; it has a small ex-Romany population.

Culture

Despite immigration from other parts of the country, particularly from the London area, many inhabitants retain a loose Hampshire accent. This "'ampshire 'og" accent is around is apparent in much of rural Hampshire and similar accent in neighbouring Surrey and Berkshire.

In recent years the area has been subject to a sizeable Nepali Ghurka immigration.
